SHED Volunteer Opportunity

SHED is dedicated to assisting seniors, disabled individuals and families, veterans, and low-income families in the University City area. SHED and Bais Abe are coordinating volunteer day of service to help with home maintenance and repairs.  No experience is necessary. However, if you do have any special skills, please list them on the form below. Please note that children under 18 years of age will need a parent or guardian present.

Due to COVID, if you have a team or group of people you would like volunteer with, a "pod" or "bubble", please indicate names on the form below so that we can make sure that you are grouped together. We can also place you in a group if you are registering alone. 

If you cannot make it this time, SHED is planning other service days on June 13 and October 10, 2021.

  • Have you or a member of your household traveled by plane within the last 14 days?
  • Have you had a diagnosis of or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
  • Have you been exposed to confirmed or suspected COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
  • Have you had any of the following symptoms in the past 14 days (not due to a chronic preexisting condition)?
    • fever (100.4 F or higher), chills or shaking
    • cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • headache
    • sore throat
    • muscle aches
    • diarrhea, nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain
    • runny nose
    • new loss of sense of taste or smell (for adults)
    • “COVID toe” (red or purple toe swelling)
