Registration for High Holidays at Bais Abe

We look forward to seeing you at Bais Abe over the Chaggim. Some notes for this year:

  • This year's Shofar can be read here. A complete High Holiday schedule can be found here.
  • Services will be held on the first floor of Bais Abe (unless indicated otherwise). We had work done on our HVAC system over the summer to make it as safe as possible for people to return to davening indoors.
  • We have added a Hashkamah minyan at 7:00 am on both days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. This will be an outdoor service.
  • If you would like to attend services at Bais Abe over the High Holidays you MUST sign up in advance using the form below or by contacting the synagogue office.
  • Masks, social distancing, and other protocols are in place at Bais Abe and must be observed at all times. For more information about protocols, see here.
  • Children are welcome to attend High Holidays at Bais Abe, but must be able to either sit with their adult(s) in services, or be outside supervised in organized small groups. Please contact Ruth in the office for more information. Unfortunately there will be no childcare available this year.
  • The High Holiday services will be shortened this year. We will provide more information soon, however please reach out to Rabbi Silberstein if there are questions.
  • There will be different outdoor opportunities to hear the shofar blown on the second day of Rosh Hashanah even if you are unable to come to services. If you cannot attend a public gathering, please let the Bais Abe office know, as Phyllis Shapiro is arranging for shofar blowers to go to people's yards.
  • If you would like to borrow a Machzor for the High Holidays, please be in touch with Ruth in the office.
