A Taste of Travel: Bais Abe's Shelach Manot Fundraiser
A Taste of Travel: Bais Abe's Shelach Manot Fundraiser
Purim is around the corner, and, while we can’t all be together, we have been thinking of other ways to enjoy this jovial holiday in true Bais Abe style! We hope you are as excited as we are for our community-wide shalach manot fundraiser; an opportunity for us to recognize and partake in this special holiday and support the shul at the same time.
Here’s basically how it works: one shalach manot gift - with a variety of globally inspired goodies - will be delivered to every household. Along with the edible treats, there will be holiday information as well as a list of sponsors/purchasers.
And that’s where YOU come in! You will have a number of options to support these efforts. Either by being a “purchaser,” “sponsor,” or both! The purchasing options range from $10 (for each Bais Abe family of your choosing) to $180 for the entire shul list as well as the ability to order additional gifts for you to give directly to your friends and family. There are also some “frequent traveler” sponsorship opportunities that will help support this project and the shul as a whole. Whoever you purchase a gift for will see your name on their list, and the sponsor names will appear on everyone’s list.
You are welcome to do everything online through your Bais Abe account, signing in with your personal login information. If you would like to set up your username and password, HERE are easy to follow instructions. If you need help with anything or have any questions, please just contact Ruth at the office (314-721-3030 or office@baisabe.com) and she will be able to assist you.
If you are all set with your shul account, then please proceed to our festive PURIM PAGE! (login required)
Registration begins on Wednesday, January 27 and closes on Wednesday February 10th.
We sincerely hope you will join us for “a taste of travel” to celebrate the holiday of Purim!
